$40 – Sonoma, CA

This wine is one of those that makes you believe in paying for a bottle of wine on occasion.  The aromas were heady and full of alcohol, and even though it was 16%, it certainly wasn’t reflective on the palette.  The flavors of this wine were rich, like a blackberry pie, with hints of cacao and aromatic woods all through it. It was perfect for sharing at Thanksgiving dinner! Thanks Andrew and Amy! 9.2
